Kirsten Waters is the owner of BMS Inc. and mother to two beautiful daughters, Alison and Samantha. Prior to BMS, Kirsten had a long career in banking, starting as a bank teller for a small savings bank. Over her 25 year banking career Kirsten worked as an Assistant Branch Manager, Loan and Mortgage Servicing Manager, Customer Service Manager, and Regional Marketing Coordinator. Over this time span Kirsten participated in multiple mergers and acquisitions and found herself chairing various committee’s related to training and development. She also served on process improvement teams and worked closely with the corporate leaders to guide the corporate culture in a positive way. After leaving banking Kirsten began working as a project manager for Business Management Solutions, a small consulting firm that was dedicated to providing back office support to a major client. In 2011, Kirsten purchased BMS from her former employer and while still supporting the one major client, Kirsten began to assist other small businesses with various tasks. It became apparent that many small businesses could use some form of back office help. Since the transition, BMS has been helping small businesses in various industries with their daily bookkeeping, marketing, business plans & strategies, special projects, and other tasks that may need attention.
